Online Webinar Training: Co-Simulation | 26th November 2021 @ 11:30 - 12:30 CET
About the Webinar
There are countless scenarios which consist of an interaction between different physical domains, be it a liquid sloshing inside a tanker truck, or a controller circuit governing the mechanics of a robot. This type of scenario cannot always be analyzed by a single simulation software, thus there is a need to use multiple software in conjunction with each other. The co-simulation technique allows Abaqus to exchange solution data continually with other software, which lets us accurately capture scenarios where multiple domains interact.

Online Webinar Training: Element Selection | 29th October 2021 @ 11:30 - 12:30 CET
About the Webinar
Elements are the basic building blocks in FE modelling of any geometries and structures. It is very important for any FE Analyst to understand the characteristics of these elements, to use them in the proper manner, based on the specific application. It is also necessary to achieve the desired level of accuracy for the simulated problem.
In Abaqus we have a wide range of elements, more than 500 different types! Some of these elements are unique to Abaqus/Standard and some to Abaqus/Explicit, but there are also elements which are common to both. In this webinar, a brief overview of elements, their characteristics and the challenges encountered in modelling some of these elements are considered. The focus of this webinar is to help FE Analysts to decide when to use specific element types and to counter the challenges that occur while modelling with these elements in Abaqus.

Online Webinar Training: 'Concrete Modelling’ | 24th September 2021 @ 10:30 - 11:30 BST
About the Webinar
Concrete is one of the most frequently used building materials. To ensure that the concrete structures meet the safety and strength requirements stated in applicable codes and standards, FE analysis must sometimes be used. This is done in order to consider the non-linear behaviour of the concrete, which is not always very easy to do with simpler design methods. Abaqus provides several concrete material models and methods to include reinforcement in the concrete.

Online Webinar Training: 'Abaqus without CAE’ | 30th July 2021 @ 11:30 - 12:00 CET
About the Webinar
At the core of any analysis using Abaqus are the implicit and explicit solvers. To perform a simulation, the finite element model must be defined in a format the solvers can interpret, the solution must be executed and then the output can be interrogated. Abaqus/CAE is an environment in which all of these tasks can be performed within a convenient GUI. However, there are options and features of the solvers that can be accessed and performed outside of Abaqus/CAE which may enhance the efficiency, or improve the control, of the simulation workflow.

Online Webinar Training: Debugging | 25th June 2021 @ 11:30 - 12:00 CET
About the Webinar
Unfortunately, a finite element model does not always behave as expected. In those cases, the analyst needs to determine what is going wrong and how this can be solved. The aim of this webinar is to help you do that.

Online Webinar Training: Constraints | 28th May 2021 @ 11:30 - 12:00 CET
About the Webinar
Most commonly, many of the FE Models which includes multiple parts are connected in some ways. The connection can either be a simple one like a fastened connection between two surfaces or may be a complicated one, where in order to have a desired level of accurate result, we may have to consider the relative kinematic effects in the FE Model. Therefore, an FE analyst must be well equipped to counter these challenges, by balancing the accuracy of the results and at same time ease the modelling efforts.
An overview of various constraints in Abaqus and its related issues will be presented in this Webinar. The aim is to help an FE analyst to counter such challenges in Abaqus modelling with high efficiency.

Join our Online Training: Obtaining a Converged solution with Abaqus
Over 5 weeks in a 2 hour session each week, from the 20st of October till 17th of November, Simuleon will hold an Online Training with live broadcasting. The training is called "Obtaining a converged solution with Abaqus"".
This course provides a useful insight in the theoretic backgrond of how non-linear problems are solved. You will learn how to develop models that will converge. You will learn to identify modeling errors that cause models to experience convergence difficulties. After this training you will be able to recognize when a problem is too difficult or too ill-posed to be solved effectively.
